How To Add An Affiliate Link In Footer In Genesis Theme

Adding an affiliate link in the footer is a good way to increase your affiliate earnings. That way, you can promote the theme what you are REALLY using. It’s actually a WIN WIN WIN situation for you, readers and the theme developers. Genesis theme frame has custom footer links which can be modified to add an affiliate link. To do this:

Step-1: Locate and open functions.php file: /public_html/wp-content/themes/YOUR-CHILD-THEME/functions.php

where, YOUR-CHILD-THEME is the Genesis child theme you are using.

If you are not using any child theme, then functions.php file would be, here: /public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/functions.php

Step-2: Add this code by editing your affiliate link:
