For many blogs say restaurants related ones, it is required that your users can search for a place in a map. This WordPress plugin can be used to integrate the maps in your WordPress blog and let the user search for a location with the use of a text field and then the location will be popped in a Google map. You can geocode any place in the map. The places can be displayed in the posts automatically. Places can be displayed as a searchable one or in a list format. The functionality is based on Ajax that means no page loading is required.
A place can also be searched on a map by providing the Zip code. You don’t need any API mechanism to run the maps, just install the plugin and that’s it. You can even calculate the distances between two points. The maps can be seen in a street view format.
